iOS 6 & iPhone 5 might be a part of WWDC
Though there is no final words on it reports suggest that A6 chip, OS X Mountain Lion, iPad Mini, iOS 6 and iPhone 5 release may be part of WWDC schedule
Several new products are set to be launched during the forthcoming World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco set to be held from 11 – 15 June. Apple like always is yet to utter a single word as to which products would be introduced in the market during one of the most awaited Apple events in the country.
There are wild speculations in the media that suggest Apple may launch several new products in the market including A-6 chip, iOS6, OS X Mountain Lion besides several other products. There are also speculations Apple may be planning to introduce a smaller 7 inch tablet iPad mini on 11th June.
But the product that is attracting most headlines is none other than iPhone 5. Though like all other products Apple hasn’t spoken a single word about it too, but there are some reports indicating that Apple will introduce the next generation iPhone during the forthcoming event.
Though, it is still not clear if Apple will bite the bait and launch iPhone 5, but if it launches the product it will be introduced with many top features and updates. If Apple introduces iPhone 5 in WWDC 2012, there are chances that the company will introduce it with a latest OS update iOS 6. It will also introduce major changes in it that include changes in form factor, better processor, better camera, NFC, and 4G LTE.
But so much focus on iPhone 5 seems to have annoyed some tech nerds. A reader says, “There’s too much focus on this (iPhone 5) and too much guess work to be helpful. Yes, the iPhone5 will attract ever higher numbers of users to iPhone. Yes, the next iPhone will have a better user experience than the last. Yes, it is important to move forward with new technology. But all the so-called ‘analysts’ have erred in their predictions far too often to be credible any more. Leave us the peace to focus on bringing new technology to the forefront. The announcements will be made when ramp-up nears”.
But another reader seems to have got Apple’s thought process as he says, “The iPhone next will be released on the day Apple thinks will result in the biggest sales. A lot of factors will go into the decision. Renewals, available, supply, competitor release plans. No analysts outside of Apple have even a slight idea of what that day will be. It is like trying to guess the picture based on two pieces from a 1000 piece puzzle. It is just as likely to be a frog as a moon or a space station”. He seem spot on at least on the question of Apple’s iPhone 5 release plan.
