If you thought that once upon a time, the elusive white iPhone might have been worth its weight in gold, you might still be right.  This new modified white iPhone 4 will set you back a cool $30,000 and gives a whole new meaning to a precision time piece.

It’s called the iPhone 4 Lady Blanche Diamonds edition. Created by Gresso, a manufacturer of luxury communication devices, this model is designed to be a luxurious and sophisticated mobile phone for women, who really value an exclusive style and value Apple’s iPhone 4.

Built into the iPhone 4’s rear panel are 3 high-precision independent Swiss clockworks with a ten-year movement reserve – indicating the time in New York, Paris and Moscow. (Sorry, no user defined locations available)

The pearl dials are covered with white diamonds and the specially designed panels allow the gems to move around freely, creating a sophisticated and sparkling display of artistic elegance.  To finish off, the phone’s rear panel is framed in a solid mineral glass which is diamond coated.

According to Gresso, it takes several hundred hours of labour-intensive work along with days of testing to complete each masterpiece.

However, if $30K is beyond your pocketbook, but your platinum Visa card can still afford Breakfast at Tiffany’s, then the Gresso Company has a solution for that. For only $7,000 they do offer a Lady Blanche Crystals version that uses Swarovski crystals in lieu of the girl’s best friend.

If you can’t stretch that far, you can always get one through Apple Canada’s online store starting at $659, or for around $159 on a 3-year term from your favourite carrier.

One more thing. For your $30K you’d think you’d get a 32GB iPhone 4 model. But alas, the description specifies only 16GB. Ah, c’est la vie!
