Suppliers gearing up for Apple's iPhone 5 and iPad 3 launch in Q3 end

Rumors are ripe that suppliers are getting ready for the launch of Apple's iPhone 5 and iPad 3 in October this year

Rumours are in the air that Apple is about to about to launch its most awaited devices, iPhone 5 and iPad 3 by Q3 end. This time the rumour has come from the Apple's supply chain that the fifth-generation iPhone and third-generation iPad will debut in September and will be available in the market in October, as per Digitimes report.

The report has also revealed that Apple's plan on designing an even thinner and lighter tablet PC along with the panel resolution enhanced up to 250dpi. However, it has now word about what the next iPhone is going to feature.

Apple is likely to manufacture around 6 million to 7 million iPhone 5 units by 3rd quarter, and considering the iPhone 4 success the total shipments may go around 24 million to 25 million units. It is also expected that with the supposed launch of the iPad 3, total iPad sales may reach to the new heights of around 40 million unit sales in 2011.

The major component manufacturers for these Apple devices are enlisting Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) that will assemble the devices. Other than this, Simplo Technologies and Dynapack International Technology will be inbolved in developing batteries for these devices. TPK Holding and Wintek will be working on developing touch panel modules and Catcher will look after the chassis, while Largan Precision will manufacture the webcams.

While most of these are speculations and rumors we willbe able to get harder truths as the launch date approaches for both these devices, so till then stay tuned.
